2012-13 Tuition Schedule And Fee Policy

Carden Cascade Academy accepts all children regardless of race, creed, religion or nationality. It is not equipped to handle children with disciplinary or severe academic problems, health difficulties, or emotional problems.

It is the policy of Carden Cascade Academy that all tuition, book and computer lab fees, and ‘First Friday’s Pizza’ & ‘Sandwich Bag Lunch’ optional lunch fees be paid on the due date or, in the case of late enrollment, prior to the child’s attendance at Carden Cascade Academy.

There is no reduction in fees for a student who is enrolled after the school year has started.

There is no reduction in fees for a student who is withdrawn prior to the end of the school year whether it is on the part of the enrolling parent or on the part of the Carden Cascade Academy.

Application Fee – The application fee of $100.00 must accompany the Application for Admission and includes one interview for the parents and child with placement testing. This fee is not-refundable. At the discretion of the school, an enrollment contract may be offered upon completion of the interview.  


Enrollment Fee – The enrollment fee of $400.00 must accompany the Enrollment Contract. This fee is not-refundable.

Newly enrolled families will have the option to make 4 quarter payments. August 1st, November 1st, February 1st, May 1st.

Optional Extended Care – For students in classes Jr. K through Junior High. Extended care is offered by reservation or a space available basis.

Morning Care 8:00am. – 9:00am.   A.M. fees $6.00 per day.

Afternoon Care 2:30pm – 6:00 pm. Extended Care fee: $190.00 per month. One sibling discount $300.00 per month. To insure your space is reserved payment is required by the 1st of each month. Monthly extended care fees are not-pro-rated. 

Additional All Day Extended Care fee during non federal holidays and school breaks 8am - 6:00pm. $16.00 per day per child for already full time afternoon extended care students.  Extended care fees are not-pro-rated. This is in addition to the monthly extended care fee.

Tutoring – The fee for tutoring either a new or returning student is $40.00 per hour. This is paid directly to the tutor.

Field Trips
– Fees for field trips are billed on the permission slip as the trips occur. Junior High trips, (e.g. Washington D.C., Williamsburg and China) are paid by the family directly to the service provider.

Returned Checks and Late Payments
– A fee of $50.00 is applied to any unpaid check and to any payment which is more than 3 days late.

Loss or Damage of School Owned Supplies – Actual replacement or repair costs, as determined by the school, are charged.
